In the spring and autumn, you can also get involved in the Transhumance – driving the horses between the Tusheti mountains and the desert. The entire Transhumance takes two weeks but is split into two parts.
You also have to be open to itinerary changes – these are genuine transhumance and the focus is on getting the horses to safety within the time frame.
